Greening the Islands (GTI) supports self-sufficiency and sustainability of islands around the world by the dissemination of knowledge and best practices and by acting as a catalyst in relations between private and public stakeholders. GTI manages an observatory, a think-tank to analyse innovative sustainable solutions and adapting them to the needs of islands by involving citizens, governments, businesses and academia.
Greening the Islands will hold its first GTI e_Convention taking place on 24-27 November 2020. There will be 15 workshops and an exhibition area where islands will promote their territories, their progress in sustainable transition, their best practices and experience on the field.
Three days of solutions on different matters such as energy, water, mobility, waste, agriculture, blue growth and sustainable tourism, this is what awaits you for this event. After these three days, you will have the chance to attend a European Forum deepening the EU policies and the neww regulation on energy storage to accelerate the sustainable transition islands.
